2nd Step Puppy Weaning Food
Can someone help clarify this confusion about puppies 7-8 weeks of age should eat ...?
I went to Petco yesterday to buy supplies for my dog soon to come. The man who works there suggested mixing Croquettes (dry dog food) with this: http://www.dog.com/item/esbilac-2nd-step-puppy-weaning-food / The package says 4-8 weeks. What about after 8 weeks of life? During the week 8? And if the dog 7th week still need to be fed by bottle (if weaned)? Im not planning on taking the dog up to 8 weeks, but I still like to know.
At 8 weeks, no, do not need this. Only buy a puppy high quality feed. Since you went to Petco, are solid gold and well-being is good foods. Buy one of those foods puppies. When my pom was a puppy I fed with food gold massive puppy. You may also want to mix some 'food is possible with the dry, if your puppy is a difficult time eating only dry.
