Golden Retriever Puppy Exercises
Can someone give advice to socialize a puppy, and rabbits?
Hello, I have two lop eared rabbits, - are about 2 years old and full grown - that is say. pretty big. I recently bought a puppy, a 14 weeks old golden retriever, and he is quite outgoing. Let the rabbits outside in the garden Most of the time, so they can have fun and exercise, but ... when we left our dog out who ends up chasing and barking at the rabbits. Now the rabbits have kinda accustomed to it, and Sprint dont off more, kinda jog at a slower pace, and we grab the puppy and say "no". Is there a way to make their friends? Or make the puppy 'good' or protection of rabbits (as there is a black labrador next door - repeatedly jumping ...) Ok! ........ Thankss xxx
put the rabbits into a security fence or the puppy on a leash first to give you a certain distance. then distract him with a toy and reward him when treatment is good. Can do two things when barking at them - says leave and feet, if you want to teach him to ignore it or behavior is not desirable. Our Club for training, if a dog takes something to teach them to act sensibly and under the control strategy. It worked fine with my dog and my cat: P good luck:)
