Chip camera? Not working?

I had a Canon Powershot SD750 Lexar 1GB SD chip o. it worked great. My puppy has ahold of it and messed it up .= So I went and bought the same, but it wont work when I put in my computer? It worked before, but now it doesn't? I do not know why works fine camera. but when I put in it wont work computer only Any tips?

You may have a problem with the paper format! Groped to format the card while the camera, then try to take a test a few pics .... If then loaded when the card is in your computer, you should be ok from there! If not, try to clear the paper and the windows use the diagnostic programs, assuming that the computer sees the card as an external drive !.... Once done, try a few test shots as above and try to load back the computer. E 'worrying that you say was working, but now !..... This might suggest that the card has failed, perhaps accidentally abuse (eg, Puppy got to this too!) or perhaps even defective paper shipped from the manufacturer! Hope this helps!
