Puppy Development Stages Dogs
Pups from mothers under 8 weeks? Developmental issue?.

In the United States, you are not allowed to sell puppies under 8 weeks of life. We had a puppy from a shelter just as he turned 8, but the time is almost certain that he and his siblings were removed (or lost) their mother, about two weeks first, if not more (because they came from a kill-shelter in Indiana). It 'a boxer / hound cross, as best as we know, and he is a bit' crazy and insecure. It's a year now. We love him, even though there are times when we were like to strangle him, but overall is a good dog. I wonder, though, if someone is particularly expert in the development phase hips, and as a removal from his mother probably hit him.

Most of what they learn from the mother between 6-8 weeks is the way to play and interact appropriately with others, so his sense of neurotic behavior. When a puppy does something unacceptable, the mother will correct this behavior and the puppy stops and do as I say, most of what the mother is the correction is social, such as biting, nipping too hard, or everything is annoying. insecurity may also be a product of leaving her mother too soon. Since he never properly learned social behavior, never probably gained a feeling of confidence. You can really help socialize him, and preferably with older large dogs that can correct, if necessary, him. Dogs correct each other can look mean, but it is absolutely essential. Might growl at your dog, it also seems to spring on him, but their intention is not is to bite, just let him know he is going too far. Sometimes it can seem a struggle, but if blood is taken, do not break them, are only teaching your dog proper ways to interact. Get around him, as many dogs as you can take socilized. Good luck.
