If a baby misses its injections what happens?
If you buy a puppy 12 weeks old and has had injections then what are you doing? may both injections when there are 12 weeks? Thanks:) x
You can start the vaccine at any time, but will still need to be in boostered 3-4 weeks - can not be done all at once. At 12 weeks of age, your puppy should only need 2 sets of vaccines (which should be up to boostered over the age of 16 weeks). If you do not receive their vaccines, they are susceptible to a number of diseases, both viral and bacterial infections - some of which can quickly become mortal. Rabies vaccination is required in most (if not all) states, and so if the puppy is not vaccinated after a certain age (usually around 12 weeks, varies from state), you may be required to pay a hefty fine ($ 500 per pet non-vaccinated in PA).
