Puppy Obedience Books

What is the best way to train a pug puppy?
I have a pug puppy four months old. I taught to sit up now, and currently trying to educate to stick to his chew toy instead of biting on everything else. I read in books and on the Internet, as well as heard from other pug owners, who become stubborn blame them. I try to keep a firm voice when training him, but I do not want to take as a punishment. What is the best way for their training? I told by another pug owner who spraying a little water in their face works well, but that seems a bit 'hard. Any suggestions? I would like to know some basic concepts before taking him to obedience classes. This is my first time, raising a puppy so any help would be great. Thank you!
NEVER EVER reuse negative enforcement as a tool for training. You need to focus on the positive re-enforcment and working on behaivor natural dog. As the potty, it is better Cash train a puppy, because, of course, dogs are not trivial when they sleep .... were re-execution of behaivor natural, and not punish the puppy by putting in the chest, becomes a safe haven for him / her. Try clicker training ... get really tasty spray is not that poor puppy in the face with water, will learn to fear you and not respect you. The puppy is a member of the family today ...
