Puppy Place

Where is the best place to have a baby than a pet store, or an animal shelter? I know a good breeder?
are trying to adopt / Buy a small, healthy, puppy (Yorkie, peek a poo, or similar pup cup of tea). Thanks! This question is not focused on "teacups". So its not a real "race," but I know it is a term used to refer to too many toy puppies. I would appreciate helpful answers and not rude.
Here are some specific suggestions on where to find a puppy. 1. Your local animal shelter or humane society. Also, if you have a specific breed in mind, there is usually company rescue for the breed. And while most dogs are adults, often pregnant females producing litters. 2. A breeder of good reputation. As do you find one of these? Go to a competition obedience or agility trials (websites below for more information) and ask the competitors, "Where did you get your dog? Who would you recommend? "How will you know that someone is predictable? - You can visit and have dozens of dogs. - Do not advertise in the newspaper. - It is not racial constantly. For example, a reputable breeder aussie shepherd know his female friends every two years and after her third litter will retire from his farm. - They eligibility requirements, will not sell a dog to anyone and are willing to turn down. This last point is crucial. Who sells a puppy to almost anyone simply because they meet the asking price is NOT a reputable breeder. And if they are reliable, we do not want to take the crap shoot to buy a dog from them. 3. Another possibility: for someone who is trained to do a test of temperament Volhard. That person will evaluate your puppy to see how it has adapted very well (and this helps to determine How trainable dog will be, if you engage in submissive urination every time you walk to the door or try to boss around children or bite if you put a hand near his' plate of food). And the compiler Volhard also the expertise to be able to identify Bad breeders as they probably have their own network breeders and owners of good can draw. You also want to be clear about what you want. A lot of toy dogs are fragile. Others (such as rat terriers) are very resistant. A versions are also lots of toy yappy dogs (chihuahas for example). So you should be clear about your lifestyle, like a dog that fits into it, and why you want a toy dog than it is bigger (say. ... 15-20 pounds). Which places to avoid? 1. All petstores. Regardless of who produced the puppy, a dog has received PetStore socialization most terrible you have no idea of the stock. Bad idea for several reasons. 2. Puppy mills. Any place where they constantly have kittens available have dozens of dogs and the females are constantly throwing litter is a puppy mill. If a woman is producing a litter every six months or every year, those puppies will be sick smaller in number, and are more likely to experience health affects. The animals themselves are very socialized. 3. Who does not feed their top dog of the line dog food. When you visit the breeder, look at the dry food they use. Then go to the site below and look it up. If it is one of the top-of-the-line brands like Solid Gold, Orjen, welfare or Inova Evo, on foot. Proof of food does not show that someone is a breeder of good or bad, but the quality of what their dogs get is a very good rule-of-test inch. 4. Any place that does not provide a full guarantee on health or a willingness to accept returns and refunds on any dog that comes to viewing issues as dysplasia of the hip. If the farmer has a "has been purchased, your" attitude walk. 5. (Anyone a neighbor, a colleague work) that says "our dog just happened to get pregnant and have some puppies." A pet dog (ie: not intended to be raised) must be sterilized or neutered. Whatever the owner (unless it is a working dog on a farm) that has not done is not competent enough for a farmer you for the trust. 6. Each farmer who offers "designer dogs" (ie: labradoodle, jack-a-rat). Fashion Designer dogs are right now but they are Only dogs of mixed race. This concept is based on two things: the production of a dog because it is fashionable (and any dog that is trendy at one point to stop being so - Is so that the trends at work) and that only by combing two dogs merge their genetics a bit 'as mixing paint in black and white produces a degree gray. That is not how genetics work. If you are a mate and a Jack Russell Rat Terrier, not necessarily get a quieter version of a Jack Russel. You get a mutt / Mixed race / All American dog that could be just like a Jack Russell in behavior. Any geneticist would say that mixing two races does not provide a compromise version two. 7. The breeder who does not provide registration papers for the dog. And not all recordings are created equal. I'd take a ride UKCI. And as part of this, the farmer must be able to indicate the lineage of your litter. And no, this does not in itself indicate that someone is a good breeder, but I do not trust anyone who did not could tell the line of the dam and the sire. 8. Who will fly a puppy at this time (it's traumatic to put a dog, especially a puppy, in the hold of an airplane in more is dangerous in winter). And who will part with the puppy before 8 weeks of life. Some of the most crucial socialization that determines if the puppy is going to be a biter or does not happen 6-7-8 in recent weeks. Getting a puppy before 8 weeks of life is a bad mistake.
