Puppy Upset Tummy
How long will my dog has a stomach upset after switching the food?
I went to take my baby 6 months more food because I spent and I could not find her Eukanuba medium breed puppy food everywhere so I had to change her cold turkey. I know it's a horrible thing to do, but I really not have another choice, so please do not judge! I switched her Blue Buffalo, which is a much higher quality food. I expected some loss of faeces which had for a couple of days. Otherwise, well. Playing as always! I was wondering if anyone else had done this and how long it took before I would return the normal .... Thanks for any help you can give me!
may take up to 3 weeks to see any positive changes from food. BB is definitely better than Eukanuba. Add a tablespoon of plain canned pumpkin unspiced food for your dog to help with any diarrhea to pass the food. You could also temporarily add cooked (al dente), white rice food. (some dogs are not used to heavy starches, not doing good at the time of first introduction of brown rice, so that it should be white) However, if you want quality food even better than BB, you could try Innova.
