How do I care for a puppy wearing his ears cut with scissors?
I found a poor pitbull puppy walking my way, a few hours ago, It's ears appear to have been cut with scissors, the edges of his ears are blacks and crisp? What can I do for the puppy, which seems to be in pain. I have no money for a vet.
The puppy needs medical care if you can not afford a veterinarian is necessary to try to persuade him to a rescue or shelter soon. Trimmed with scissors is in a high risk of infection and possibly in grief. Be careful to turn on him for a city / county shelter some have a policy for automatic euthanzia pitbull type dogs. If there is a pit bull rescue in your area that would be better to try to contact them first, if not start with no-kill save before taking in a city / county shelter
