Puppy Warmer Pad
Is a heating pad a good idea for the newborn puppies?
I bought a lectro kennel heating pad for temperature control for them. I want to assure that the puppies are warm enough. (Boxers) We keep our house at about 65 degrees. Think it's ok to put the heating pad in the box of parts in which they can get away if they want to. I also have to turn up the heat by 65 and use the pad? I send the pad back? She is due in a couple of days and Im starting to get that feeling excited but anxious. I just want to do the best for them. I adopted this dog pregnant and Im trying to get things straight final. Other suggestions are greatly appreciated. She is going x-ray tomorrow night. Will be in a draft free area. Thanks in advance.
Yes I would like to continue to use the thermal pad under a blanket for the first week of live pups, they do not know how to shake until they are almost a week specially cold minimum may hurt them. Good luck
