Any opinions on the brand that encourages healthier the best results for LARGE breed puppy?

Although I had several jobs in clinics and training and other animal health and science are important to an animal, I never received a response to the final disclosure top notch brand of dog food large breed and puppies. I have a 7 months, 60 pounds Rott / Boxer mix that goes through food like crazy but it's not growing at the right pace, even if its energy is constant. The breeder had him on Purina puppy chow, then we switched him Beneful to 9 weeks (though not a big fan), and we had him Nutro Nat. Choice and authority ever since. I'm quite happy I have, but I am just curious if anyone has other opinions or have had personal experience with a great dog food that I could use for my big boy. Thank you!

Wow, your getting some really bad advice. Stay away from any popular commercial dog food, like Purina, Pedigree, etc. It 'really bad for your dog. You should do some research on ingredients in foods. For example, here are the first five ingredients in Nutro Natural Choice: Lamb Meal, ground rice, rice flour, rice bran, rice gluten meal time lamb is good, but after that there is no other meat, and 4 types of rice?! This is the reason for your dog isn't growing. He does not get enough meat. I have two boxers and feeding Innova, is a bit 'more expensive, but heatlhy for them. Here it is five ingredients: Turkey, Chicken, Chicken Meal, Ground Barley, Ground Brown Rice The first three ingredients are meat, which is followed by Barley and Brown Rice. My advice is to do some 'research and see the ingredients within different foods and choose what you feel at ease. If you want your dog to grow well, you have to feed him properly.
